I photographed 6'3" Goz the other day and he couldn't have been nicer. You never know when you have professional athletes, sometimes you only get five minutes, sometimes you get cool guys like Goz who's down with whatever. When he introduced himself he said "Hi I'm Goz, make me look good." I think we did that.
Shot with the Mamiya 645 Phase One P45+ back. Lit with a Profoto 7b and the Hensel with Profoto Head.
Oh and my friend Jon helped me out, thanks Jon. Check out his photos here. Really great stuff.

Sawyer Nordin is an amazing 5 year old. He was born blind and was the first sightless person that I have photographed. He's full of energy and loves to sing. I photographed his mom Leslie a few days ago for Runner's World Magazine. She ran the entire Boston Marathon blindfolded to raise a ton of money for the Parsons School for the Blind. Yep, that's 26.2 miles without sight, amazing.

Oh yeah, adult sized big wheels. Just like those things you ripped around on when you were a little kid. Except these things have a freewheel and a hand brake. We rode these, raced these, crashed these and mostly laughed on these while visiting friends over the 4th of July weekend. I shot a ton of stuff and I'm saving the goods for the book. They are so much fun, it's almost like being 5 again. Oh, everyone at this big wheel party was over 30 years old. Awesome!

I went on a road trip last week and found this guy when we stopped at a truck stop along the Mass Pike. I grabbed the camera and and we shot a few frames and both went along with our trips.
