I created this portrait yesterday of Boston's Mayor Tom Menino. I added some portraits to go along with the cover story I was shooting about Bike Sharing in Boston. I set out to photograph the city's bike czar Nicole Freedman when the the mayor became part of it too. Who knows if the magazine will use the portraits or not. But something cool came out of going a little above and beyond. Thanks to Henry for helping out, Christian for the lens loan, and Dot Joyce at the mayor's office for making it happen.
Shot with the Canon 5d Mark II, 85mm 1.2L lens, profoto 7b and hensel porty lights.
