Last week was a mellow and somewhat slow work week. I decided to take a personal day and hit the road for what I like to call a "run and gun" trip up to Vermont. A "run and gun" day is when you get up nice and early, grab your gear and hit the road. You drive for hours, do something cool for hours, and drive back home all in the same day. This particular run and gun had Pittsford, VT as my destination. I threw the bike on the car about five minutes after I woke up, grabbed the rest of my mtb gear, my camera bag, my old polaroid land camera and a few packs of film and was gone shortly after. I pulled over and stopped when I wanted, no agenda, no time limits. I shot digital photos, iPhone snaps, and some cool b+w fuji-roids. I rode up a mountain on my bike, about two hours of pedaling uphill switchback after switchback. Bombed the trails back down and loaded up the car for the adventure home.
This post consists of the results from the Land Camera with B+W Fuji Instant Film. Enjoy and I'll post some other stories and photos from my run and gun VT trip this week, before I head back to VT next weekend!

The photo doesn't do the mountain justice, it was a long damn climb to the top of that thing. |

My wheels. Run and guns are great with a 50mpg car. |
