Zoe Photo
Yesterday I turned Zoe loose with my Canon 5d Mark II camera and told her to shoot whatever she wanted, as much as she wanted to. When she was done we geeked out on the computer a bit and she chose one to print. It's this b+w still life above.
It looks awesome in color so I'm showing that too.
Here are some behind the scenes iPhone snaps of her at work:
Zoe you rule! I'm very proud of you and your creativity!

Gary "Jack" Wendt: Man on Walkabout
While I was up in Hampton, NH shooting the surf stuff from the previous post I met Gary "Jack" Wendt. He was shaving in the public bathroom and said he was selling all the stuff in the back of his truck to raise money for fuel to go to Florida. He "had enough of no work and the New England weather". I looked at the stuff in his truck but wasn't interested in any of it. It was all high quality, I just didn't want any of it. So I offered to pay him to take his photograph. I only had two bucks in my wallet and that's what I offered. Here are the shots we created. I printed them today and I'm sending to Gary and his mom in Vermont. After I took the flexing muscle shot he said I needed to caption the photos: Man on Walkabout.
If you stumble upon my blog Gary please leave a comment. I hope all is well with you and know that the prints are on their way to VT. Good luck in Florida and take care!

East Coast Surf + Being a Photographer
This was last Saturday up in Hampton, NH. I went along with my buddy Matt with the intentions of getting in the water and surfing too. When we got there I broke out my camera and started shooting. I was shooting for me and having a blast doing it. Being a photographer, doing photographer things, having photographs. Awesome!

My Dad: Mike Campbell
I am so psyched! This is the first time I have photographed my dad. After years of not knowing each other we reunited this week. It's so awesome to get to know him again! And guess what dad, you better get used to having me pointing a camera at you because this portrait is the first of many more to come!
