I decided it's time to have an agenda with this blog. So I have come up with a plan to organize my posts and make myself accountable for posting. I am designating each day of the week to match up with a planned theme:
Monday: Marketing Update-What I'm doing to get my photography out there.
Tuesday: Will feature a Photographer or Artist that inspires me.
Wednesday: Hipstamatic Images- Showing those random iPhone pics that I enjoy.
Thursday: Portraits from the streets-going out and capturing people that I don't know and haven't arranged a shoot with.
Friday: Film Friday-Showing some old and new images captured on film.
Optional Substitutes may fill in from time to time.
-New Work
-Johnny Cash Images
-Tear Sheets

iPhone Hipstamatic: Beer + Promos
I couldn't resist this shot of my PBR's that shared in my journey last night in creating my email promos from the last post. PBR is the second best thing from Wisconsin. The best thing from Wisco is my wife!
Have an awesome day!

I'm on a Promotional Binge
The email above went out to a targeted list of running companies.
This email featuring Detroit Lion Gosider Cherilus, that I shot for The Boston Globe Magazine, went out to a targeted list of ad agencies and magazines that specialize in sports.
These images are outtakes from a cover shoot also for The Boston Globe Magazine. This email went out to big and small ad agencies as well as a ton of magazines.
I also stopped by the post office today and dropped off nearly 700 postcards that have these same images on them and are sent out to the same target markets. My thoughts are that some people like emails and some people like printed promos, so I'm going to hit them with both.
Any thoughts? Any criticism? What are you doing to promote your photography?
Please if you are here, checking out what I'm doing, leave a comment. I love and welcome feedback, both positive and negative.

Hipstamatic Stoke
Photography superstar Gary Land posted some images from his hipstamatic iPhone app on his blog and I wanted to share that with you. Gary's photography has inspired me for a very long time. I always enjoyed his snowboarding work in Eastern Edge magazine, and will never forget his cover of Andrew Mutty jumping off a parking garage for Snowboarder. Now his hi end commercial work is very well produced and executed. I dig every phot I see of his.

Boonville by Timothy Briner
If you are in NYC tonight please head on over to Chelsea to support my friend and Hallmark classmate Timothy Briner. His Boonville work is showing at the Daniel Cooney Gallery.
Tim, I am really excited for you and proud of you. Have fun at the opening!

Another iPhone/Digi Holga
Here's another contact of the Hipstamatic iPhone Holga stuff. It's so much fun, I'm shooting with this thing everywhere!
Last night we were waiting patiently at the Dr.'s office and Zoe was playing games on my phone and she took these two images of me. I think they are super cool and also get excited when she shoots photos on her own, with out prompting and with an eye for composition! Keep up the great work Zoe!
As always, click the images to make them bigger.

iPhone/Digi Holga
I recently got an app that in my opinion is the closest thing to the results I can get with my holga. I used to carry the holga everywhere as I now do my phone and I'm psyched to be able to get the results I'm getting with the Hipstamatic iPhone app.
Click on the image above to see it bigger.
