LEVEL- Eric Narcisi
I recently shot some cool running images with Eric Narcisi of LEVEL Renner. We nailed some great shots and Eric wrote a really funny blog post about his modeling experience, http://ejnshow.wordpress.com/2013/01/17/magnum-or-blue-steel/

Reebok/Lady Footlocker Finals
I shot these for Reebok a little while back. They are printed nice and big and should be hanging in the windows of Lady Footlocker right about now. Thanks to Tim, Ann, and Erica at MDG for the fun gig. Thanks to Kyle, Kieth, Nicole, and Christine for helping make it all work smooth.

Monday: Marketing Update

Here are a few iPhone quickshots of the prints for my book.
PORTFOLIO:
Yesterday I spent most of the day printing the pages of my new portfolio. I have more prints to make. Then comes the trimming, scoring, and hole punching required to assemble the book. It was cool to print yesterday. It seems a lot of the time with digital I only print when a print is needed. Most images are sent over the internet to clients, burned to a disc, or moved to another hard drive. The photos really came alive to me yesterday when I saw them printed really well and at a descent size. I'm still flying high from it!
SOCIAL NETWORKING:
I joined Facebook finally. I had been holding out thinking it was a time waster. Now I am of the thought that connections and relationships are very important however we have them. It's pretty amazing how within twenty four hours I became connected to over 100 people. My name was seen by over 100 people. My web hits went way up, so people were looking at my work. Yeah I'm sure some were friends and family but I'm also sure that some were folks that hire or know people that hire photographers. It's win win. So if you are here and we are cool guy friends on the Facebook please look me up and send a request.

Melissa Donais

A few weeks ago I photographed Nate Jenkins for Runner's World and met his girlfriend Melissa Donais. She's also a distance runner sponsored by Adidas. This weekend we got together and went to this amazing location that I had found while mountain biking with fellow photographer Christian Kozowyk.
When we rolled into this spot I yelled " I call it. I'm going to shoot a runner here." Christian fired back with "we'll see who get's here first." Well I got there first and when I e.mailed him some shot's he wrote back "Awesome, I can't wait to shoot that place!" Let's see what he shoots.

B.T.S. Runner's World: Nate Jenkins

Here's a few iPhone shots that Henry took of Saturday's shoot for Runner's World Magazine.
We had a great location with perfect weather and runner Nate Jenkins was super cool. We were able to get the portrait and try some cool creative stuff too. Thanks Nate, Melissa, and Henry for a mellow and successful shoot.
Shot with Canon 5d Mark 2, 100-400L lens, Profoto Acute head modified to work with the Hensel Porty pack.
